Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas sets sail from and returns to Port Miami located minutes from Miami International Airport and conveniently located near I-95 and downtown Miami.
Destination Mitzvah has worked with Royal Caribbean to secure special cabin rates. We have access to all types of cabins, from interior to ocean view to balcony to suites. The Cottler family will cover all special activities, parties and exclusive events. Your cabin reservation must be made through Destination Mitzvah by completing the form on the Reservation page. While we do highly recommend a passport, if you are a United States citizen and born in the United States, one is not required for the cruise. If you do not bring a passport, you must have an original birth certificate AND a photo ID. For Guests 16 years of age or older, the photo ID must be a government issued photo ID such as a Driver's License. Please remember that if you are flying internationally, a Passport is required. Additionally, if you do not have a passport, it may take an extra 90 minutes for you to disembark the ship. Therefore, we recommend traveling with a valid passport.
Miami International (MIA) is about 15 minutes away from Port Miami and Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) is approximately 40 minutes from Port Miami. We suggest taking a taxi, Uber or Lyft to the port. Please remember that you must be on the ship no later than 2:30/3:00pm. If you are flying home after the cruise, we suggest not booking your flight until at least 12:30pm from Miami and 1:30pm from Fort Lauderdale.

The Destination Mitzvah Team plans, manages and produces corporate and social events and we are on board the cruise (or at the resort) to implement what we have planned. Throughout the weekend, we have exclusive, fun-filled activities that are forever remembered by all Guests as we celebrate the Guest of Honor.
Upon completing the online check-in form approximately 45 days prior to the cruise, you will be able to select your arrival time. Please be sure to arrive no later than 3:00pm. You may be denied boarding if you arrive after 3:00pm.
Yes, there are parking garages at the port including a garage that is connected to the cruise terminal.
Our group cabin availability includes interior, ocean view and balcony staterooms. We also are able to provide pricing on suites. The Destination Mitzvah Team will provide you options based on the number of Guests in your stateroom and the type of stateroom you desire.
Yes, Wonder of the Seas has multiple complimentary dining venues to please all taste buds. Food is also included on Royal Caribbean's private island, CocoCay. While we will dine nightly as a group in the Main Dining Room, specialty restaurants are available for an additional charge. Pre packaged Kosher food is also available. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you request Kosher meals.
Complimentary beverages include ice tea, juices from the fountain during breakfast, milk, chocolate milk, lemonade and regular and decaf coffee. The Cottler family is providing children, 6 to 20 years old with the refreshment package which includes complimentary sodas, milkshakes at Johnny Rockets and non alcoholic beverages. Adults may opt to purchase the adult beverage package.
Yes, absolutely! We have a program filled with fun and exclusive activities for all guests as we celebrate Matthew's Bar Mitzvah. Please refer to the “WEEKEND” tab on this website.
Upon making a reservation, each Guest has the option of purchasing travel insurance through Royal Caribbean which is highly recommended by Destination Mitzvah. The cost varies based on the cabin selected but will average approximately $59 to $89 per person. The Royal Caribbean insurance will cover Guests at 100% for a covered reason and 90% as a future cruise credit for a non-covered reason. Please inform Destination Mitzvah in writing Evan@DestinationMitzvah.com that you would like to add insurance to your reservation.
Based on our many previous cruises, guests who are prone to becoming seasick rarely do as this weekend cruise only cruises the Florida Straight and Bahamas Channel. Therefore, the seas tend to be very calm. Additionally, due to the size of Wonder of the Seas and its unique layout, you may not even realize you are cruising.
A packing list with all recommended items will be sent closer to the cruise date.
Cabins are available on a first come basis. However, all guests must confirm their attendance by May 2, 2025.
